Account Tiers and How to Upgrade

0x API account tiers

0x offers two plans so you can match your account to how you trade and build.

Standard Plan

Built for teams getting a Web3 trading business off the ground. Includes:

  • ~5 requests per second

  • Access to Swap, Gasless, Cross-Chain, and Trade Analytics APIs

  • Liquidity from 370+ sources

  • Quotes optimized for settled value and execution quality

  • Native monetization (trading fee or commission)

  • Real-time trade analytics

  • Technical and account support

Note: on the Standard plan, 0x earns a 0.15% fee on select token pairs and collects Trade Surplus (positive price improvement when an order fills better than quoted). Also, the Standard plan does not include access to 0x RFQ liquidity.

Custom Plan

Built for high-volume teams and unique business models. Includes everything in Standard, plus:

  • Higher throughput — teams running 100+ RPS are supported

  • Volume-based discounts

  • Dedicated technical and account support

  • Flexible terms for non-standard business models

Which tier is right for me?

Start on Standard if 5 RPS comfortably covers your request volume and the standard fee model works for you. Move to Custom if you're consistently hitting rate limits, need volume discounts, or have a business model that doesn't fit the standard fee structure. If you're unsure, contact the team — they'll help you size it.

How to upgrade your plan

You can upgrade directly from the 0x Dashboard:

  1. Log in to the 0x Dashboard.

  2. Click your profile in the top right.

  3. Select Upgrade Plan and follow the prompts.

For a Custom plan, schedule a call instead and the team will configure throughput and terms to your requirements.

When do new limits take effect?

Higher rate limits apply once your upgrade is processed. You can confirm your active limits on the Dashboard.
